I always get overexcited about proposal shoots. The level of responsibility is so so high - every emotion, every movement is candid, important, unrepeatable...I get nervous, then happy, then I cry, then I feel blessed. All in all, a hurricane of emotions. Shared with them.
Anthony popped the question on a warm sunny evening in May. Of course, it was a complete surprise!I was there to witness and capture their special moment. Then we walked, laughed, danced and celebrated... One of my favorite shoots for Flytographer.
I have been photographing Ira and Illia since my very first year in Cape Town. Their love story has been a source of inspiration for me, and I always admired that special tenderness, passion and common dreams that they share.
I wassohonoured to photograph them while they were expecting their baby girl. We thought that a sunrise in the dunes will be the best scenery to portray those tender moments.
Ira is a talented calligraphy master, so we could't resist decorating the table and having breakfast with an ocean view.
People often ask me if I do family or pregnancy photoshoots. Yes, I do. I often call myself a wedding and couple photographer, but I do capture many beautiful families and lots of those very special moments. I love when my wedding clients come back to me after some time, asking to take photos of their growing families. My heart sings at the moments like those.
I decided to collect a few of my favorite family and pregnancy shots, to give you an idea of my style. As you see, I love candid spontaneous shots, so I usually take my clients out for a walk. And we share some happiness.
What a beautiful day it was! They arrived to Florence a couple of days after their wedding, still full of emotions and wonderful memories of the day. We met early in the morning to have a stroll in the city end enjoyed empty streets. We planned to watch a sunset in the evening somewhere in Chianti, drove to the vineyards and got under the pouring rain instead. It was a real adventure to drive back in the thunderstorm, but a few photos from the olive gardens are worth it!
I so much love sessions like this - spontaneous, cheerful and full of happy emotions. Ann surprised her significant other with a sunny shoot in Rome for their second anniversary. Bring those days back!
I've been craving for a shoot like this since the first time I saw Cape Town in a mist. We are used to a sunny city, golden sunsets and stunning light, but I really wanted to try to take photos in grey and foggy weather, when the clouds are so low to the ground that it feels that you can walk in that mysterious mist.
We've been planning this styled photo-story for a long period of time, checking the weather predictions and adjusting our schedules. On the shooting day, the weather was changing every few hours, as it can happen in Cape Town. We went from sunshine to fog, drizzle and cold. We started to shoot in a beautiful golden light, which was not what I actually wanted, but we decided to take it as it goes...and the result is beautiful, isn't it? Especially because the weather changed drastically and by the time we were rounding up the shoot Cape Town impressed the whole team with a very beautiful and dramatic light.
Sharing the results of a great teamwork!

They flew all the way to South Africa with a dream to exchange marriage vows next to the ocean. I was there to witness a very intimate, honest and emotional wedding ceremony "for two". After that special moment when they promised to love, respect and cherish each other, we drove to my favourite beach for a stunning sunset, stopping along the way.
I hope you will like these honest and very sweet moments captured by my camera.
As many great encounters these days, ours happened thanks to social media. I've been following Zhenya's adventures for quite a long time, and when we happened to be in Cape Town in the same period I decided to drop her a line and arrange a shoot. I instantly fell in love with her and Julius, they looked so wonderful together, there was such a special connection between them! I hope I managed to capture it.
They are young, free and so much in love! Two beautiful redheads on a sunrise shoot in Cape Town. I was so glad to document their connection!
They came to Amsterdam from a warm Tel Aviv. They wanted to capture a few happy moments of their honeymoon in Europe, far away from what they are used to. Amsterdam was the best choice, with it's golden September light, narrow bridges, and romantic streets.
